Ultrasound Activation of New Drugs for Killing Cancer Cells
نویسندگان
چکیده
It has been previously reported that such chemicals as hematoporphyrin are activated by ultrasound energy. In the present study, in vitro ultrasound cell killing effect in the presence of the non-toxic red stain, Rose Bengal, was evaluated. Gastric cancer cells were exposed to ultrasound with or without Rose Bengal. Greater ultrasound cell killing effects were obtained in drug included samples. Whereas drug alone had no toxic effects.

The base of this study has been demonstrated the use of different drugs and dosages on different tumour cell lines and finally the effect of these drugs on natural killerllimphokine activated killer (NK/LAK) Killing. Tumour cells as target , mononeuclear cell activated with inter leukin-2(LAK) as effector, anti cancer drugs like tamoxifen , pentoxifylline , cycloheximide and cisplatin as stimul...

Introduction: Hormesis and adaptive responses are two important biological effects of low-dose ionizing radiation (LDIR) in organism and mammalian cell lines. Notably, LDIR generates distinct biological effects in cancer cells from normal cells, e.g., it may affect the growth of cancer cells via the activation of certain cell signaling pathway, which does not exist in normal ...

Background and Objective: Chimeric antigen T cell receptors provide a good approach for adoptive immunotherapy of cancer. In this new kind of chimeric T cell receptor, nanobodies are replaced as variable fragment of T cell receptor. Nanobodies (VHH) are the smallest fragments of antibodies that have great homology to human VH and low immunogenic potential. VHH-hing-CD28-CD3و construct was made ...
متن کاملEffect of Soluble HLA Class I Molecule on NK/LAK Cells Activation Induced by Poly I:C
Background: Natural Killer cells express killer inhibitory receptors specific for HLA-class I molecules. These receptors could induce signals that determine NK cells ability to mediate cytotoxicity. Purified soluble form of HLA class I molecules (sHLA) could bind to NK cell receptors and down-regulate the NK killer function. Objective: To evaluate the influence of sHLA and two monoclonal an...
متن کاملSeparation of Curcumin from Curcuma longa L. and its Conjugation with Silica Nanoparticles for Anti-cancer Activities
Curcumin is the natural bio-active component of turmeric (Curcuma longa L.) with known therapeutic properties; nevertheless, its biological applications are limited due to its poor bioavailability. To overcome this limitation, curcumin was conjugated with silica nanoparticles. Curcumin was separated from turmeric by microwave-assisted extraction and silica nanoparticles were developed from rice...
